Makes approx. 10 servings

To a punch bowl, add 1 cup Cognac, 1 cup lemon juice, ½ cup port, 1 cup Simple Syrup (recipe follows), 2 cups cranberry juice, 1 cup chilled orange pekoe tea and 1 cup soda water. Add ½ cup each chopped green apples, pears, limes and strawberries. Stir. Ladle into glasses with ice, distributing fruit.

Makes approx. 10 servings

SIMPLE SYRUP
Combine equal parts sugar and boiling water, stir to dissolve. Store in refrigerator until chilled.
