Cellar Collection: Special Offers

The Cellar Collection: Special Offers gives you exclusive access to small-lot, rare and artisanal wines and spirits, often right from the producers’ own cellars. These are true treasures you’ll, well, treasure.

Domaine de la Chapelle: New horizons for Hermitage

“Caroline Frey, owner of Paul Jaboulet Aîné, has decided to uncouple La Chapelle (and its white counterpart, Le Chevalier de Sterimberg) from the Paul Jaboulet Aîné brand by creating a separate entity, Domaine de la Chapelle, which will be the new home for these two wines.” (Matt Walls, Decanter, Nov. 28, 2023)

A name closely associated with the legend of Hermitage, Paul Jaboulet Aîné has constructed a new facility to improve upon the already exquisite reds and whites of Domaine de la Chapelle.

According to Frey, “[the new winery] won’t change the style of the wine. The process will be the same... The star of the area is the hill of Hermitage, that’s what we want to preserve…”

To ring in this new era, Paul Jaboulet Aîné is offering some of its most coveted reds from well-received vintages. Included in this offer are standard-size bottles of La Chapelle from 2021, 2011 and 2006 and a magnum of the 2021.

These are collectible vintages that offer options for drinking now, next year, or for decades to come.

Order today, as quantities of these stunning wines are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Maison Olivier Leflaive: Les Blancs de Beaune

Maison Olivier Leflaive has become a flagship of the Puligny region, iconic to its wine and tourism industries thanks to its gorgeous vineyard, excellent wines, and five-star hotel experience.

The roots of Leflaive’s history can be dated back to the 1700s, when one Claude Leflaive acquired a parcel in Puligny-Montrachet to grow grapes for wine. By the mid-1900s, the estate had become a massive success, being one of the first to export wines to the international market.

By the 1990s, the estate was managed by Olivier and his cousin Anne-Claude. They decided to split the estate, with Anne-Claude focusing on the family’s Domaine Leflaive and Olivier focusing on his own personal brand, Maison Olivier Leflaive.

Olivier’s label has since expanded to other surrounding regions, even delving into Pinot Noir production in the famed Pommard sub-region.

The Chardonnays of Maison Olivier Leflaive are coveted for their incredible stature and ability to properly reflect the quality found in the three key sub-appellations of Côte de Beaune: Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet.

These exquisite whites (and one red) will be sure to go fast. Orders are first come, first served.

UGCB: Bordeaux’s classically styled 2021s

Explore more than 80 wines from the 2021 vintage.

For collectors and neophytes alike, there’s no region so immediately recognizable and exciting as Bordeaux. The premium wines of Bordeaux are the global benchmark for excellence. This offer features wines from more than 65 member producers of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux.

“The 2021 Bordeaux have turned out to be such a surprise. Weather conditions were challenging, and yet the top properties turned out gorgeous, classically built wines that will absolutely thrill readers who appreciate freshness and energy.” (Antonio Galloni, vinous.com)

“… anyone who enjoys the great benchmark Bordeaux wines of the 1980s and 1990s should seriously reflect on what the 2021s may have to offer in 10 to 15 years’ time. It’s a style of wine that could come from nowhere else ... And if the 2021s’ balance is reminiscent of a vintage from yesteryear, the best wines benefit from all the precision of modern winemaking, displaying beautifully refined, polished tannins.” (William Kelley, robertparker.com)
