How many times a year is Food & Drink published, and when is the next publication date?
Food & Drink publishes five issues a year.
Our publication dates for 2026:
Travel – March 4th, 2026
Spring – April 29th, 2026
Summer – June 24th, 2026
Autumn – September 9th, 2026
Holiday – November 4th, 2026
While all LCBO stores receive copies of each issue, quantities are limited. We recommend visiting your local store as close as possible to the release date to obtain a copy.

Can I read Food & Drink online?
You can read PDF issues of Food & Drink from Autumn 2015 onwards online.
You can also download digital issues to your smartphone or tablet through the free LCBO Food & Drink Magazine app. Look for it in your app store.

Does Food & Drink have a newsletter?
Food & Drink does not have a dedicated newsletter, but by subscribing to the myLCBO newsletter, you will receive early digital access to the latest issue.

Can I subscribe to Food & Drink magazine?
As of March 2026 we have discontinued our subscription mailing service of Food & Drink magazine. As a result, we are no longer accepting subscription renewals or new subscription orders.
Current subscribers will continue to receive magazines until their existing subscription runs out, however they will not be able to renew.
You can continue to enjoy the digital versions of Food & Drink here. Printed copies will continue to be available in our LCBO retail locations across Ontario, while supplies last.

Is Food & Drink available in French, and where can I find it?
The printed French edition of Food & Drink is distributed in all LCBO stores located in French Language Services (FLS) designated areas (300-plus stores). FLS stores can be found by “searching my store” using the “bilingual service available” filter. Customers can also request a French copy at any LCBO store outside of the FLS designated areas and the store will be added to the distribution list to offer French copies of Food & Drink.

Where can I buy a prop (such as glassware, tableware or furniture) pictured in Food & Drink?

Are you hiring writers, photographers or stylists? Do you accept freelance work?
All our contributors — including photographers, editors, stylists, recipe developers and writers — are on contract with the LCBO. As a government agency, the LCBO is required to post RFPs for services on biddingo.com. Only successful applicants to RFPs can be added to our vendor pools and are able to work on LCBO projects, including Food & Drink, Vintages Release Catalogues and other LCBO advertising materials.

Can I work in your test kitchen?
Food & Drink does not have an in-house test kitchen. Our recipe developers are on contract with the LCBO and test recipes in their own kitchens.
