One of the 10 Beaujolais cru sites, Chénas has some of the most robust wines in Beaujolais. This one is floral, with bright red fruit, brooding black fruit, vanilla and earth, plus the characteristic structured tannins of Chénas. It will continue to evolve till 2020+ or will be delightful tonight with salmon or grilled pork chops. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2020)
