Makes 1 cocktail
2 oz gin
1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
¾ oz simple syrup*
2 oz soda water
Lemon slice and cherry, for garnish
Pour gin, lemon juice and simple syrup into an ice-filled Collins glass. Top with soda water and stir. Garnish with a skewered lemon slice and cherry.
Makes 1 cocktail
Simple Syrup
Bring 1 cup (250 mL) water to a boil in a small saucepan. Pour 1 cup (250 mL) granulated sugar into boiling water, stirring constantly until completely dissolved. Let cool. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
