Blood Orange Martini

The balance of sweetness and acidity in a blood orange echos similar qualities in a Riesling. Only fleetingly available this time of year, blood oranges are not to be missed. Greeting your guests with this colourful Martini will make for a festive welcome
1 oz Riesling icewine
1 oz vodka
2 oz freshly squeezed
blood orange juice
1 Shake Riesling icewine, vodka and orange juice over ice and strain into a large Martini glass. Garnish with a blood orange twist.
