Cloudsley is a new, small project in Ontario that focuses entirely on Niagara pinot. It is made by Adam Lowy, a former wine importer. This bottling blends three vineyards in the Twenty Mile Bench appellation. It has a surprisingly lifted, floral, raspberry jam nose. There is subtle oak spicing as well. It is light to mid-weight, slim, juicy with very fine tannin. That raspberry jam sensibility carries through long onto the finish. Easy to enjoy yet firm enough to age a bit. 220 cases produced.
