Vanilla-scented Galliano (LCBO 217067, 375 mL) and honey take a sweet Irish spin in a nightcap that’s special enough for the holidays. Be sure to shake well—not only does it help dissolve the honey, it takes the edge off the whiskey.
Makes 1 drink
1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine 2 oz Irish whiskey, ½ oz Galliano, and 1 tsp (5 mL) wildflower honey. Shake for 15 seconds to dissolve honey and strain into a rocks glass over 1 large ice cube. Garnish with a lemon twist.
