Created upon request for Sir Winston Churchill’s mother in one of the world’s most renowned cities. Elegant and in a class of its own, this drink blends whisky with sweet vermouth.
Makes 1 cocktail
2 oz rye whisky or bourbon
1 oz sweet red vermouth
2 dashes Angostura® bitters
1 maraschino cherry, for garnish
Stir whisky, vermouth and bitters in a mixing glass filled with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with cherry.
