Lemon-Basil Vodka Soda

Makes 1 cocktail
½ lemon
3 basil leaves
1½ oz vodka
4 to 5 oz sparkling water or club soda
Squeeze 1 oz juice from lemon and add to a rocks glass filled with ice. Tear 2 basil leaves in half and add to glass. Pour in vodka. Top with sparkling water. Stir to mix. Garnish with remaining basil leaf.
