Caesar Rimmer with Homemade Steak Spice

Celery salt is the traditional Caesar rim, but we like to zest things up with our take on a classic Montreal steak spice. Peppery and savoury, it is tempered perfectly by the tomato-based juice.
Makes 1 cup (250 mL)
1 To a lidded container or jar, add ½ cup (125 mL) sugar, ½ cup (125 mL) salt and 1 tbsp (15 mL) cayenne. Stir well, or close lid and shake to mix. The amount of cayenne can be adjusted to taste. Store indefinitely. To rim, moisten the lip of a glass with fresh lime juice before dipping in rimmer.
