Lovely perfume here on this pinot from the Willamette Valley, with dried rose petal mixing with fresh-ripe red fruit and some swarthy, darker fruit notes and evergreen herbs and damp earth in the classic varietal idiom. The palate is bright and mid-weight, appealingly firm and fresh, with good energy and vibrancy. Really solid wine for the money. Drink or hold short term. Tasted October 2021. Score - 91.
