Festive Apricot Fizz
Holiday 2009
This is a refreshing and lively cocktail that will delight guests.
¾ oz lemon juice
¾ oz Simple Syrup (see below)1 oz Bombay Gin
1 oz Brizard Apry apricot liqueur
Ice cubes
2 to 3 oz sparkling wine
1 mint sprig
Apricot slice
Add lemon juice, simple syrup, gin and apricot liqueur to a mixing glass. Add two-thirds of a glass of ice, shake well, and strain into a Martini glass (though this drink looks especially lovely in an old Marie Antoinette style coupe glass). Top with sparkling wine, and garnish with a mint sprig and a slice of an apricot.
