This gorgeous Champagne cocktail is perfect for both welcoming your guests and ringing in the New Year. Luxardo Maraschino liqueur tastes nothing like the jar of stained red cherries you’re familiar with, but instead shares more in common with kirsch, though it is a little sweeter.
Makes 1 cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine 5 blackberries, 1 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur, the juice of ¼ lime and 3 ice cubes. Shake sharply and strain into a flute or coupe. Top with chilled Champagne and garnish with an additional blackberry or two, if desired.
