The Negroni
Early Summer 2015
If using another brand of red vermouth, add a little less as they tend to be sweeter than Carpano Antica. Orange is the essential garnish; lemon doesn’t work at all.
Makes 1 drink
1 oz gin
1 oz Campari
1 oz Carpano Antica vermouth
1 orange wedge
1. Combine liquids in a mixing glass with several large ice cubes. Stir until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass. Squeeze the juice from the orange wheel into the drink and drop in the wedge.
