The Ginger McIntosh

Choose a spicy, bold whisky for this delicious cocktail, such as Canadian Club or Canadian Mist, to accent the zesty ginger. You can also try using blended Scotch for a unique twist.

1½ oz rye whisky
¼ oz fresh lemon juice
½ tsp diced fresh ginger
1 tbsp liquid honey
3 oz fresh apple juice

Garnish
Crisp apple slice.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1½ oz rye whisky, ¼ oz fresh lemon juice, ½ tsp diced fresh ginger, 1 tbsp liquid honey and 3 oz fresh apple juice. Shake sharply and strain into a highball glass. Garnish with a crisp apple slice.
