Thai Popcorn

Popcorn is a healthier alternative to deep-fried snack foods. Our Thai-flavoured spicy popcorn has no fat added but tons of flavour.
Makes 8 cups (2 L)
8 cups (2 L) popped popcorn, preferably just popped
1 1/2 tbsp (22 mL) hot Chinese chili sauce or sambal oelek
2 tsp (10 mL) fish sauce
3 tbsp (45 mL) chopped coriander
Salt to taste (optional)
1. Place popcorn in a large bowl. In a small bowl, stir chili sauce with fish sauce. Toss popcorn with chili mixture, then immediately toss with coriander and salt if you wish.
Tip: To make 8 cups (2 L) of popcorn, start with 1/3 cup (75 mL) popcorn kernels and 2 tbsp (25 mL) heated vegetable oil.
