Strawberry Martini
Early Summer 2010
Use local Ontario strawberries if possible, asthey have more flavour than imported ones.
Makes 1 drink
6 strawberries hulled
½ tsp sugar
1½ oz vodka
¼ oz triple sec or Cointreau
Garnish: 3 strawberry halves skewered
1. In a cocktail shaker, add strawberries and sugar. Muddle the ingredients until strawberries are mashed. Fill shaker with ice and add vodka and triple sec. Shake and strain into Martini glass and garnish with strawberry skewer.
