Cracked Pepper & Honey Butter Popcorn

Sweet and spicy, this flavoured popcorn is sure to be popular. If making ahead, reheat in a 200°F (100°C) oven on a rimmed baking sheet for about 5 minutes. Completely cooled corn can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Makes about 8 cups (2 L)

8 cups (2 L) warm popcorn
2 tbsp (25 mL) butter
2 tsp (10 mL) honey
¾ tsp (4 mL) coarsely ground black pepper
¼ tsp (1 mL) salt

1. Place the popcorn in a large bowl. Combine the butter and honey, and microwave them on medium until both ingredients are melted, about 40 seconds. Stir well. Drizzle over popcorn and toss well. Sprinkle the popcorn with pepper and salt and stir well. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
