Boulevardier

The traditional Boulevardier cocktail is made of equal parts bourbon, Campari and vermouth. For a twist, try our rye whisky version (see recipe below).
Makes 1 cocktail
1 oz bourbon
1 oz Campari
1 oz sweet red vermouth
1 orange twist or wheel, for garnish
Stir bourbon, Campari and vermouth in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled rocks glass (filled with ice, if you like). Garnish with orange twist.
Makes 1 cocktail
Rye Boulevardier
1½ oz rye whisky
¾ oz Campari
¾ oz sweet red vermouth
1 orange wheel or twist, for garnish
Stir whisky, Campari and vermouth in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled rocks glass (filled with ice, if you like). Skewer orange wheel and add.
