Aperol Spritz

The Classic Aperol Spritz has been enjoyed in Italy as a quintessential summer drink since the 1950s but it really took off in 2003 when Gruppo Campari bought the brand and threw its advertising and distribution weight behind it. Aperol is now the biggest-selling spirit in Italy! It’s also surprisingly popular in Manchester, England, now that it’s the official global spirits partner of Manchester United football club. Fans are invited to celebrate their loyalty to the club by drinking an Aperol Spritz.
Makes 1 cocktail
Pour 3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Aperol and 1 part club soda into a large glass half-filled with ice. Add a slice of orange.
