From source blocks in the Sellicks Hill district, just south of the Aldinga Airstrip. The locals call the area Whites Valley. Ocean breezes from the nearby Gulf St Vincent are a great help in tempering the fruit to deliver its best self to the bottle - Cabernet loves a nearby ocean. So there is good varietal character, crushed black berries and tobacco leaf to entice, liqueured fruit cake, dark chocolate, rich plum compote...all held together with neatly retained acidity to keep things juicy and lively in the palate.
