Paragon of Pauillac: Château Latour dinner

Many aficionados consider Château Latour the finest plot of land on the planet for growing grapes.

The ancient tower garrison that adorns the labels of its wines invokes a sense of historical significance to the Pauillac region.

The land has been occupied since the 1300s during the Hundred Years War, when the aforementioned garrison was originally built. Vines grown on the property have been renowned for making stunning wines since as early as the 16th century, when French renaissance philosopher Michel de Montaigne commented on their qualities in Essays.

One of the five grand vin producers in Bordeaux, Latour makes wines famous for their firm, solid structure and incredible depth of character, with wine critics Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson, MW, commenting on their “… robust depths that can take decades to reveal their complexity.” (World Atlas of Wine, 8th Edition)

We invite you to join us at the elegant contemporary French restaurant Lucie for a soirée of tasting and discovery featuring eight Latour wines, with vintages dating back as far as 1985, guided by Artémis Domaines sales and marketing director Jean Garandeau. You’ll also be first in line to purchase many of these wines and other Latour gems.
