Istituto Grandi Marchi: Walk-around tasting

Il Istituto del Vino Italiano di Qualità Grandi Marchi is a collective of 18 world-class winemaking families, each a standard-bearer for one of the country’s many viticultural regions. 

An important focus of the Grandi Marchi is education. Through workshops, tastings, seminars, online videos and more, members advance the Italian winemaking identity. And with over 3,000 combined years of winemaking experience, they have plenty to teach.

Members are considered visionaries in the world of fine wine, dedicated to the advancement and sustainability of their region’s indigenous varietals, landscapes, specialties, and wine culture. Each family is emblematic; an ambassador for the quality present in their respective region, committed to proving that from Piedmont to Puglia, Sardegna to Sicilia, there is something to love.

This year marks two decades since the Grandi Marchi began educating and pouring for amateurs and oenophiles all around the world. We invite you to join Il Istituto at Arcadian Loft to meet, greet, taste, and learn from the masters. Representatives from Pio Cesare, Antinori, Tenuta San Leonardo, Masi, Jermann, Mastroberardino and many more will be present, pouring trademark labels and rare vintages.
