Medium yellow colour, with a bright, toasted bread and iced pastries kind of bouquet. It's complex and shows the toasted-nutty, bready maturity of judicious lees development. The rich, full palate also has poise and refinement. The acidity is brisk but balanced cleverly by subtle, unobtrusive dosage. A very smart wine. Excellent complexity and balance. (a Blanc de Blancs from the two grand cru villages of Oger and Le Mesnil sur Oger. Min 5 years on lees. Dosage 5.8 grams/litre.) Drink: 2017-2023. Score - 95. (Huon Hooke, therealreview.com, Dec. 6, 2017)
