LCBO LAUNCHES DRINK RESPONSIBLY FOR THE GOOD OF ONTARIO IN-STORE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN WITH MADD CANADA

Thursday, May 13, 2021 – Toronto – Beginning today, and in advance of the May long weekend, LCBO is launching a fundraising campaign for MADD Canada. Customers may choose to donate $2, $5 or $10 alongside their purchase, in all stores from May 13 - 23. The partnership with MADD Canada will increase awareness on the dangers of drinking and driving and raise funds to support education and awareness programs across the province.

Through Spirit of Sustainability, and 20-plus years of partnering with MADD Canada, the LCBO continues to champion safe and informed consumption through responsible retailing practices and alcohol literacy initiatives.

The LCBO reminds customers to enjoy our products responsibly and return empty beverage alcohol containers (large and small glass bottles, PET plastic, Tetra Pak cartons, bag-in-box and cans) to The Beer Store for a full deposit refund.
