Celebrating International Women's Day and beyond

Celebrating International Women's Day and beyond

In celebration of International Women's Day, we are proud to continue to come together for a sixth year in support of our partners at Women’s College Hospital Foundation. From March 3rd to March 20th, you can donate alongside your in-store purchase to support programs that break barriers and close critical health gaps for women and groups facing social and economic marginalization across Ontario.

We are also honored to highlight our Good Partners and the women leading the industry.

Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity (DIBE)
at the LCBO

We are committed to building and fostering an employee and customer experience and sense of belonging that is rooted in diversity, equity and inclusion, where employees and customers are heard, respected and valued for their differences and where employees, regardless of their personal characteristics, can achieve their full potential.

For the Good of Ontario

Our community impact would not be possible without our generous customers, dedicated employees, and Good Partners. As part of our partnership with CEE, we worked with Corex Creative to produce our first Impact Video. Please watch the video below to see the meaningful change we created across Ontario’s diverse communities last year, featuring interviews and stories from our charitable partners and program beneficiaries.

Thank you for joining us in building a stronger and more inclusive province.

Here's to infusing our industry with opportunity

Spirit of Inclusion Initiative

As part of our commitment to Enhance Industry Diversity, we’ve launched the Spirit of Inclusion Initiative. This program is designed to create opportunities for diverse women to enter, advance, and thrive in the beverage alcohol industry. Working with our impact partners, our goal is to increase equitable representation in the winery, brewery, and distillery fields.

Our Pillars

Spirit of Sustainability’s efforts focus on three strategic pillars: Good People, Good Planet, and Good Partnerships. Each pillar has clear, enterprise-wide goals that allow us to measure our impact and ensure our efforts are pushing the industry and province forward.

Good People

Our customers, employees and communities are our top priority. Here’s what we’re doing to help improve their health and well-being.

Moderation Mandate

Providing products, information, and the responsible services Ontarians need to make positive drinking choices that support a healthy lifestyle.

Good Planet

We care about the environment. These are the steps we’re taking to minimize our impact on the planet.

Reducing Waste and Energy

We champion innovative practices that reduce our energy use and the amount of waste our business operations and product offerings generate. Want to help? Learn how you can recycle through Bag it Back and Stewardship Ontario.

Creating Responsible Supply Chains

We’re setting environmentally conscious standards across our supply chains to boost efficiencies. For example, our Lightweight Glass Policy plays a key role in cutting our carbon emissions and waste. This policy has caught on around the world, with liquor control boards and wineries around the globe following our lead.

Good Partnerships

We’re leading by example and teaming up with like-minded partners to foster real positive change in our industry.
