Creamy Peppermint Float

This delicious ice cream treat is a snap to puttogether and it’s sure to please kids and adultsalike. Feel free to double, triple or even quadruplethe recipe.
Makes 1 float
1 cup (250 mL) cream soda
1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) peppermint extract
2 scoops or 1 cup (250 mL) vanilla ice cream
1 candy cane or peppermint candy, crushed
1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) peppermint extract
2 scoops or 1 cup (250 mL) vanilla ice cream
1 candy cane or peppermint candy, crushed
1 Pour half of cream soda into a tall glass.Add extract. Carefully add ice cream. Slowlypour remaining soda overtop. Garnish withcandy cane or sprinkle with crushed candy.
