LCBO’S “LOVE PAIRS WITH EVERYTHING” CAMPAIGN RETURNS AFTER RAISING OVER $6 MILLION TO DATE FOR THE 2SLGBTQI+ COMMUNITY

Tuesday, June 11, 2024 – Toronto - LCBO is proud to launch its annual Pride campaign, Love Pairs with Everything. After raising over $6 million to date in support of the health and wellbeing of the 2SLGBTQI+ community, LCBO aims to increase its impact with the support of its employees, customers, and partners. This year’s campaign celebrates love in all forms and provides meaningful ways to create change and impact for the 2SLGBTQI+ community.

Love Pairs with Giving

Between June 11 and June 30, LCBO is pleased to fundraise for charity partners from Casey House, Rainbow Railroad and The 519 as well as first-time partners CANFAR and Egale Canada. Customers have the option to donate alongside their in-store purchases across the province. Funds raised from the campaign will support the health, safety and wellbeing of the 2SLGBTQI+ community.

In addition, the LCBO is pleased to be an official sponsor of Pride Toronto for the sixth consecutive year. The LCBO also continues to expand its presence and support through official sponsorships with London Pride, North Bay Pride and Capital Pride in Ottawa to celebrate 2SLGBTQI+ communities across Ontario. New this year, LCBO and Uber have joined forces to get guests home safely with designated pickup and drop-off zones during the Pride Toronto festivities.

Customers can tote their Pride

LCBO limited-edition Pride tote bags are available for purchase across 160 retail stores and online. All proceeds will go towards charitable partner 2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations, which supports a strong, healthy and self-determining 2-Spirit community in Ontario where 2-Spirit peoples live with pride in their Indigenous heritages, values and roles in our communities.

Indigenous History Month

LCBO recognizes that June is also Indigenous History Month. Through its Spirit of Sustainability platform, LCBO continues to work with partners to create an Ontario where communities have access to thrive and to highlight the history and remarkable achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. LCBO is investing in both Habitat for Humanity Canada and Indspire as they partner with Indigenous communities on housing and education development.
