LCBO Announces Annual Fundraising Campaign in Support of United Way
Funds raised will ensure the 28 United Ways across the province can continue to support local organizations and deliver vital social services to those in need
Tuesday, September 21, 2021 – Toronto – As communities across Ontario continue to recover and rebuild from the effects of COVID-19, the LCBO is launching its annual Support Local fundraising campaign for the United Way. Beginning this Thursday, September 23rd until Sunday, October 17, customers who are able to can donate $2, $5 or $10 alongside their purchase at LCBO stores across Ontario.
Funds raised will ensure that the 28 United Ways across the province can continue to deliver vital social services to those in need, sustaining our communities as they recover and rebuild from the effects of COVID-19.
When customers make a donation at an LCBO store, the funds are invested directly into their local communities and stay 100% local.
This campaign is rooted in LCBO’s Spirit of Sustainability social impact platform to improve the well-being of our customers, employees, and communities. To learn more, please click here.
