July 20, 2024 – Toronto - Yesterday morning, LCBO announced it had reached a tentative agreement with OPSEU that, pending ratification, would end the OPSEU strike at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024. RECALL ISSUED FOR A SPECIFIC LOT OF LIEBFRAUMILCH WINE

June 22, 2024 – Toronto - In collaboration with the supplier, LCBO has issued a product recall for a specific lot (L4008-2002) of Liebfraumilch Drathen Qualitatswein Rheinhessen (1L and 1.5L), a white wine from Germany. Due to refermentation, these products may become hazy and pressure build up in the bottle may cause some bottles to break.

LCBO ASKS OPSEU TO AGREE TO APPOINTMENT OF A MEDIATOR

June 17, 2024 – Toronto - The LCBO is currently in collective bargaining with the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) the union representing approximately 10,000 LCBO team members. LCBO is also aware that, on June 13, OPSEU requested a ‘no board’ report from the Ontario Ministry of Labour. Once granted, the ‘no board’ sets a 17-day countdown to OPSEU’s legal strike position.

May 24, 2024 - LCBO has been informed that Sunscope has initiated a voluntary recall in Canada of a NÜTRL-branded promotional tumbler cup due to a manufacturing defect that may lead to serious health consequences, which may include potential chemical and ingestion hazards; refer to the Health Canada notice. This NÜTRL-branded tumbler was offered as a gift with purchase in select Canadian stores, including select LCBO stores, in April and May of 2024.
