Makes 1 cocktail
1 oz Wayne Gretzky Red Cask
1 oz freshly pressed lime juice
1 oz simple syrup (see recipe below)
1 oz Wayne Gretzky Cabernet Merlot
Add whisky, lime juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Slowly add wine by pouring it over the back of a spoon, gently floating it on top of the cocktail.
Makes 1 cocktail
Simple Syrup
Fill a 2 cup (500 mL) Mason jar halfway with granulated sugar. Carefully fill with boiling water. Stir constantly until dissolved. Syrup will keep well, covered and refrigerated for at least 2 weeks.
