Tanqueray Ten Negroni
Early Summer 2011
This version of the classic Negroni alters the traditional 1-1-1 proportions to allow the gin the prominence it deserves.
½ tsp sugar
1 orange slice
1 ounce Tanqueray Ten gin
¼ oz sweet vermouth
½ oz Campari
Ice
1 Sprinkle sugar over both sides of orange slice. Grill over medium-high direct heat for approximately 2 minutes per side, or until orange begins to brown.
2 Mix gin, vermouth and Campari over ice and garnish with grilled orange slice.
