Up to 50 different whiskies are used to create a blended Scotch, ideally creating a balanced combination of complex flavours. When mixing Scotch cocktails, keep it simple, so as not to lose the superb nuanced of Scotch whisky.

1 oz blended scotch
¾ oz sweet vermouth
¼ oz Benedictine

Garnish:
Orange twist

1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1 oz blended scotch, ¾ oz sweet vermouth and ¼ oz Benedictine.
