Bitters have become the ubiquitous cocktail ingredient-du-jour, and with good reason. Their complex, nuanced flavours add dimension to otherwise familiar ingredients. If you happen to have orange bitters on hand, add a dash in addition to the Angostura Bitters in this pretty refresher.

Makes 1 drink

To a cocktail shaker filled with ice add 1 oz pisco, 1 oz blood orange juice, ½ oz Simple Syrup, 1 oz egg white, juice of ½ lime and 2 dashes Angostura Bitters. Shake and strain into a coupe or Martini glass. Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon.
