Ginger-Clementine Smash

Sweet-sour citrus and ginger liqueur blend beautifully, creating an excellent base for an easy-to-prepare smash.
Makes 1 cocktail
½ clementine or ¼ mandarin with peel
2 mint leaves or 1 sage leaf
1 oz Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
1 oz rye whisky
1 mint sprig or 1 sage leaf, for garnish
Muddle clementine and mint leaves with ginger liqueur in a cocktail shaker. Add whisky. Fill with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve over a large chunk of ice in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with mint.
