Bright medium yellow. Subdued but pure aromas of nectarine, peach, baking spices and butterscotch with complementary oak (66% new French, the rest American). Juicy, firm acidity gives shape to the stone fruit and more exotic pineapple and mango flavors. Offers good thickness of texture without heaviness due to the lees contact but holds its shape thanks to its brisk acidity. Finishes with lovely fruit-driven length and freshness. I find this fresher and richer than the 2017 version, but also rather oaky. Drinking window: 2020-2024. Score - 89. (Stephen Tanzer, vinous.com, Dec. 2020)
