Whiskey & Peach Iced Tea Pitcher

Serves 6 to 8
8 oz whiskey such as, Irish whiskey
3 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 cups (750 mL) homemade or store-bought peach iced tea (see recipe below)
Blackberries or cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Pour whiskey into a pitcher. Stir in lemon juice. Add 2 cups (500 mL) ice. Top with peach iced tea. Pour into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with blackberries.

Homemade Peach Iced Tea
Place 4 orange pekoe tea bags to a heatproof container. Pour 4 cups (1L) boiling water overtop. Let steep for 4 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Stir in ½ cup (125 mL) granulated sugar. Slice 3 peaches into wedges and add. Refrigerate until cooled and flavours infuse, at least 2 hours and preferably overnight.
