Summer Porch Cooler (non-alcoholic)

Fill a tall glass with ice. Add 1 oz GingerLemon-Grass Syrup (recipe follows), 2 oz mango juice and3 oz lemonade. Stir to mix. Garnish witha lemon-grass stalk.

Makes 1 cocktail

GINGER LEMON-GRASSSYRUP

To a heatproof container, add 1 cup (250 mL)sugar, 1 tbsp (15 mL) ginger juice and 1 stalkfresh lemon grass, chopped. Add 1 cup (250 mL)boiling water and stir to dissolve. Allow tocool. Cover and store. Removelemon grassafter 24 to 48 hours (to taste). Refrigerate forup to 3 weeks.

Makes approx. 1 cup (250 mL)
