Pomegranate juice is pink and tart, and it makes a festive, colourful drink. Cranberry juice can also be used as an alternative.

1/2 oz pomegranate juice
1/2 oz Cointreau
Sparkling wine

Pour pomegranate juice and Cointreau into a Champagne flute, then top with chilled sparkling wine.
