While it is still difficult to source fresh exotic fruits, bottled or canned versions are readily available, opening the door to dozens of cocktail possibilities. Here, the combination of passion fruit, with its distinct aroma, and guava, thick and sweet, renders an exceptional summer sipper.

1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1 oz amber rum, 2 oz passion fruit juice and 3 oz guava juice

2. Shake and strain into a Collins glass with ice.
