Crown Royal’s rich blend is complemented by local honey and sweet vermouth for this woodsy spiced fall drink.

1½ oz Canadian whisky, such as Crown Royal Whisky
½ oz local vermouth, such as Dillon’s Vermouth
¾ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ oz wildflower honey
Long strip orange peel, for garnish


Pour whisky, vermouth, lemon juice and honey into a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds. Strain into a short old fashioned glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with orange peel.

Makes 1 cocktail
