Makes 1 cocktail
2 oz tequila
1 oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup (see recipe below)
3 oz chilled club soda
A lemon wheel
A maraschino cherry
Pour tequila, lemon juice and simple syrup into an ice-filled Collins glass. Top with club soda and stir. Garnish with lemon slice and cherry.
Makes 1 cocktail
Rich Syrup
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup water
Bring water to a boil. Pour sugar into the boiling water, stirring constantly, and dissolve completely. Cool and store in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
