Frozen Negroni

Makes 2 cocktails
2 oz gin
2 oz Campari
2 oz sweet vermouth
2 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
½ oz simple syrup*
2 cups ice cubes
Orange wedge, for garnish
Pour gin, Campari, vermouth, grapefruit juice and simple syrup into an airtight container and freeze for 6 hours. Pour mixture into blender and add ice. Blend until smooth. Garnish with orange wedge.
Makes 2 cocktails
Simple Syrup
Bring 1 cup (250 mL) water to a boil in a small saucepan. Pour 1 cup (250 mL) granulated sugar into boiling water, stirring constantly until completely dissolved. Let cool. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
