The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru is 100% whole cluster fruit raised in 50% new oak (two barrels produced). It has a generous bouquet of cranberry, wild strawberry and hints of Seville orange marmalade, a vein of crushed stone tucked underneath. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, firm grip and good structure, the whole bunches influence lending edginess and earthiness toward the finish.
