A true mix of ripeness and smoky or toasty barrel notes for a truly recognizable, drinkable and easy going varietal wine. Resides in that raspberry-cocoa lane with just a kiss of sweetness (4 g/L of residual sugar) and drier if also more effective tannins than expected.
