The 2022 Chablis vintage has been described as a “modern classic,” and the taut, energetic wines of William Fèvre are showcase examples.
With increasingly warm temperatures becoming the norm throughout the growing season, the wines of Chablis have begun to reflect an exciting new dimension. This isn’t to say they’ve changed, but rather to recognize that many of these steely, fresh wines are starting to show a delicate underlying tropical note; a nuance that’s beginning to define a “modern classic” expression from this region.
The wines remain undeniably mineral and crisp, and the 2022s from William Fèvre demonstrate the purity, harmony and energy of Chablis with a certainty firmly rooted in provenance. This offer features premier cru and grand cru wines from some of the region’s most famous sites. Under the stewardship of the William Fèvre team, they showcase the grace, refinement and clarity that have made the wines of Chablis so sought-after.
These delectable, collectable Chardonnays will sell out quickly.

Burgundy’s 2022 vintage was hot, but skillful vineyard management delivered ethereal wines of exquisite delineation, tension, complexity and precision.
The 2022 vintage in Burgundy was marked by warm, dry conditions; a situation that’s becoming more common in all French regions. But Burgundy’s 2022s show none of the expected adverse impacts of such a season. What mitigated the effect of the heat on the wines? Many point to the rains that came in June and replenished the vines as a prime factor. But perhaps more importantly, individual producers have been adapting to the more frequent and extreme heat, adjusting their approaches to pruning and canopy management and other vineyard practices to compensate. There is also a belief among Burgundy winemakers that the vines themselves are acclimating. This doesn’t yet have scientific corroboration, but something good is certainly happening. The bottom line is that Burgundy is demonstrating an ability to produce wines with the ripe fruit of a hot vintage without tipping into the overripe or sacrificing freshness. Great news for those of us who love these wines.
This offer includes premier cru and grand cru wines, many with large-format options, from the renowned Domaine de Montille’s 2022 portfolio. These are wines that will satisfy the expectations of even the most demanding Burgundy collector.

Pierre Morey’s 2021s are wines to get excited about. The Pinot Noirs are supple and perfumed, and the Chardonnays are fine-boned with a classic character.
There’s no substitute for experience, and the Morey family’s understanding of Burgundy extends for more than 230 years; they’ve grown grapes and made wine in this part of the world since at least 1793. Pierre Morey founded Domaine Pierre Morey in 1971, and his vineyards have been 100% biodynamic since 1997. Besides making his own wines, he spent 20 years as the cellar master for Domaine Leflaive, working there until July 2008. In recent years, his daughter Anne Morey has been working closely with him as co-manager, assuring that yet another generation will continue to add to the family’s already notable laurels.
This lineup from Morey’s 2021 vintage offers vibrant, fragrant wines that exhibit the lithe, dynamic, ageable character that defines the wines of Pierre Morey. They’re wines that will become even more interesting as they mature. This selection will sell out quickly.
