Domaine de Bellene: The 2024 vintage
Founded in 2005 by the late luminary vigneron Nicolas Potel, Domaine de Bellene makes its wines from old vines, many aged 50 to 110+ years and all farmed biodynamically and sustainably, in some of the best plots in Burgundy.
The 2024 vintage in Burgundy was a challenging yet rewarding one, in which meticulous producers who weathered the rainy conditions were able to make beautifully elegant wines. Quantities were low, making the finest wines all the rarer.

Burgundy’s Château Gaunoux: Love at first site
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from some of Burgundy’s most prized premier cru sites crafted by one of this iconic region’s most celebrated wine families.
In Burgundy, place means everything. Nowhere else does a wine’s provenance command such attention, excitement and devotion. This offer features wines from some of the most prestigious premier cru sites in Burgundy crafted by a family that traces its role in the Côte d’Or wine story to the 16th century.
The influence of the Gaunoux family on modern Burgundy began with the celebrated Henri Gaunoux. Henri worked his vines from before World War II through to 1972, when he divided his holdings between his two sons, creating Domaine François Gaunoux (also known as Château Gaunoux) and Domaine Michel Gaunoux.
Since 2001, the red and white wines of Château Gaunoux have been aged entirely in stainless steel and spend no less than two winters maturing in tank. This is done to ensure the purity of the wines and to allow their remarkable terroirs to achieve uninhibited expression. Their Chardonnays come from Clos de Tavaux Monopole, Clos des Meix Chavaux Monopole and La Goutte d’Or, while their Pinot Noir wines are sourced from Le Clos des Chênes, Le Clos des Mouches, Les Épenots, Les Grands Épenots and Les Rugiens premier crus.
