The Chadwick name is inseparably linked with the modern history of Chile.
In 2004, determined to prove Chile’s worth as a world-class wine country, groundbreaking Chilean producer Eduardo Chadwick organized a blind tasting at the Berlin Ritz-Carlton, with renowned wine critics Steven Spurrier and René Gabriel as hosts. Viñedo Chadwick, Don Maximiano and Seña would compete against Bordeaux blends the likes of Lafite, Solaia, Margaux, Latour and more.
Viñedo Chadwick and Seña took the first top spots.
This offer celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Berlin tasting, showcasing 10 acclaimed wines including Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve (the Viña Errázuriz flagship); KAI (the best expression of Carmenère, Chile’s signature grape); Seña (Chile’s first icon wine); and the Viñedo Chadwick 2021 – rated 100 points by six different wine critics including Tim Atkin, James Suckling and Wine Advocate.

“Mr. Ponsot combines a reverence for history with an appreciation of what technology can offer.” (Eric Asimov, The New York Times)
Known as somewhat of an iconoclast, fourth-generation winemaker Laurent Ponsot spent 36 years making wine at his family estate in Morey-Saint-Denis before branching off in 2017 to create a new project with his eldest son, Clément. Their self-styled “haute couture” winemaking style demands the utmost attention to every little detail and uses grapes grown as naturally as possible, with minimal intervention and no synthetic chemical additives. The wines express some of Burgundy’s greatest terroirs.
“Mr. Ponsot combines a reverence for history with an appreciation of what technology can offer. He farms without chemicals, but refuses to adhere to any sort of agricultural ideology, which he describes as restrictive. He avoids sulfur dioxide, but protects the wine in vats with layers of neutral gas.” (Eric Asimov, The New York Times, April 2018)
Featured here is a selection of wines from 2020, which is considered a classic vintage.

Explore more than 80 wines from the 2021 vintage.
For collectors and neophytes alike, there’s no region so immediately recognizable and exciting as Bordeaux. The premium wines of Bordeaux are the global benchmark for excellence. This offer features wines from more than 65 member producers of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux.
“The 2021 Bordeaux have turned out to be such a surprise. Weather conditions were challenging, and yet the top properties turned out gorgeous, classically built wines that will absolutely thrill readers who appreciate freshness and energy.” (Antonio Galloni, vinous.com)
“… anyone who enjoys the great benchmark Bordeaux wines of the 1980s and 1990s should seriously reflect on what the 2021s may have to offer in 10 to 15 years’ time. It’s a style of wine that could come from nowhere else ... And if the 2021s’ balance is reminiscent of a vintage from yesteryear, the best wines benefit from all the precision of modern winemaking, displaying beautifully refined, polished tannins.” (William Kelley, robertparker.com)
