1 oz Baileys Espresso
1 oz Ketel One Vodka
2 oz strongly brewed coffee, chilled
½ oz simple syrup, optional (see recipe below)
Coffee beans, for garnish
Pour Baileys and vodka into a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice. Add coffee and simple syrup. Shake until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass or rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with coffee beans.
Makes 1 cocktail
Bring 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add 1 cup granulated sugar. Stir until dissolved. Remove from heat. Let cool completely. If making ahead, syrup will keep well, stored in a resealable container in the fridge, for at least 2 weeks.
