LCBO INVITES CUSTOMERS TO CHEERS TO 30 YEARS OF FOOD & DRINK

September 12, 2023 – Toronto – LCBO invites customers to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Food & Drink magazine through a special event on Thursday, October 12 in downtown Toronto.

Beyond the Page will bring to life the pages of Food & Drink’s anniversary issue through exciting food and drink offerings that celebrate the past, present and future. In addition to a selection of classic and innovative cocktails, attendees can sample favourites from iconic brands, and learn more about Ontario wine via a unique wine tasting.

Guests will enjoy a sampling of Food & Drink’s most popular recipes, the ultimate charcuterie spread from producers across Ontario, a grand finale dessert station, and much more.

Beyond what’s on the menu, attendees can look forward to an exclusive preview of a Food & Drink art installation featuring recreations of some of our most beloved magazine covers by Ontario artists: Jeannie Phan, Kayla Whitney, Laura Heaney and Nashid Chroma. Attendees will take home a limited-edition print of their choice as part of a Food & Drink gift bag (included in the ticket price). Prints will go on sale to the public online and in select stores starting October 13, 2023, with net proceeds going to charitable partners.

“For 30 years Food & Drink has offered Ontarians an insider’s view of the best new products, seasonal recipes and creative hosting ideas, all while spotlighting the very best from our own backyard,” says Vanda Provato, Chief Marketing & Digital Officer. “Our Food & Drink event will bring these things to life and create an experience to remember.”
