Distillery Feature: Glenmorangie

Highland King

Craftsmanship defines Scotland's legendary Glenmorangie distillery.

There are many stories that can be told of the illustrious Glenmorangie Distillery, but there are three elements that best capture its legendary craftsmanship. Namely, the stills, the casks and the Men of Tain. Those stills are the tallest in Scotland and stand 5.14 metres (16 feet, 10¼ inches) high, which means only the lightest and purest of vapours ascend, creating an especially smooth spirit.

The casks impart an unmistakable character and the distillery is rigorous in what casks are worthy of selection. Glenmorangie Original will only use its casks twice to maximize the flavour profile, while the extra-mature range of whiskies reveal a depth of character thanks to choosing only the finest casks. Finally, the renowned 16 Men of Tain are responsible for producing this exceptional line of whiskies — each a craftsman dedicated to consistently producing a portfolio of whiskies that is cherished and shared the world over.
